Our Practice
Here for You
The practice on Errigal Road was established in 1961 by Dr Barry Hooper, who followed his father, Dr William Hooper, into General Practice. He opened a surgery, not far from their family home, at 112 Errigal Road, where we still provide healthcare services from today.
In 1970 his son Dr Michael joined the practice, where they worked together until Dr Barry retired in 1991. Dr Michael then retired in 2010 after 40 years of caring for the patients of Drimnagh.
In 2006 Dr Sarah Beth Hooper joined the family practice to work alongside her father after completing her degree in Medicine at UCD and a MSc in General Practice. Dr Sarah follows a proud family tradition in Medicine as the fourth generation of doctors who have proudly been providing medical services to the Drimnagh area for over 60 years.
Our healthcare team are highly experienced to offer an extensive range of medical services tailored to meet our patients' needs.
We are here to give you the best possible course of action, so you leave healthier than you arrived, with more options for good health.
The Team at
errigal surgery are dedicated to providing you and your family with excellent healthcare in a professional environment.
