Meet our Team

Dr Sarah Beth Hooper    GP Principal

Dr Sarah joined the practice in 2006 after  completing her medical studies at University College Dublin. She became the fourth generation of the Hooper family to practice medicine in the locality. Dr Sarah completed her specialist training, including an MSc in General Practice, with the UCD Specialist Training Programme in General Practice. Like her father she excelled in the sporting arena representing Ireland u21 in hockey and playing many years of senior league hockey with UCD and then with Corinthian hockey club. 

Specialist interests include pediatrics, women's health, family planning, diabetes care.

Dr Sarah is a member of the GP Specialist Register.

Dr Mary Burke                     GP Principal

Dr Mary joined the practice in January 2010. She graduated from University College Cork in 1998 and is on the Specialist Register for General Practice. Dr Mary is a highly experienced GP and has worked for many years in Emergency Medicine at Beaumont Hospital, Dublin.

Dr Kate McNamara            Sessional GP

Dr Kate McNamara is a very experienced GP who joined errigal surgery in 2025 bringing a variety of skills required within a GP setting.

Nurse Jenny Power           Practice Nurse RGN

Nurse Jenny joined the practice in 2025. Nurse Jenny has many years experience as a Nurse after qualifying with a degree in Nursing from Dublin City University. Our Nurse services include Blood Testing, Childhood and Travel Vaccinations, E.C.G. and Chronic Disease Management.

Administration Support Team

Our skilled and professional Administration Support Team are critical to the efficient operations of the practice and are committed to providing a professional service to all our patients. They provide a vital service either front of house, or on the phones, supporting the clinical staff.  The practice is very fortunate to have an experienced, friendly and empathic Team.
