  • How can I get my blood test results?

How can I cancel my appointment?

If you cannot attend your appointment for any reason, please let us know as soon as possible.

Telling us in good time means we can offer the appointment to someone else. It also helps us to reduce waiting times for other patients and means everyone can be seen sooner.

To cancel your appointment please contact us by telephone on 01 4556299 or email us at reception@errigalsurgery.ie .

  • How can I join the surgery as a new patient?

The practice is currently full to new patients but you can be added to the waiting list which is reviewed regularly. If you wish to be added to our waiting list please email us your details at reception@errigalsurgery.ie

  • How can I order a repeat prescription?

Please see our Appointments & Prescriptions section for full information.

  • Where can I collect my prescription?

If you require a prescription, either for a new medication precribed during a consultation or you have ordered a repeat prescription, once the GP has prepared the script it will be sent electronically to the pharmacy of your choosing.

Please allow the pharmacist sufficient time to prepare your medications before arriving to collect them.

  • My Medical/Doctor Visit Card has expired, can I still be seen?

You must have a valid, in date, Medical/Doctor Visit card to avail of medical services covered by the scheme. You can still attend the GP for a consultation or prescription but if your card has expired you may be liable to pay fees, as a Private Patient.

  • I have a form that needs to be completed by the GP, how do I get this done?

If you have a form that you need a GP to sign/complete, please fill in any part that you are required to, and then drop the form into Reception. Please ensure to include any relevant reports or documentation that could assist in the GP completing the form.

Please note that all forms require a full, thorough investigation of your chart and past medical history. In some cases we may require additional information to be sent to us from hospitals or consultants, so the completion of a form is a timely and lengthy process, so we ask that you are patient and allow sufficent time for the GP to complete.

Some forms may require you to attend for a consultation & some may incur a fee.

If you are due to collect the completed form from us, we will be in contact with to advise when it is ready.
